MLB Scores: Chien-Ming Wang Tosses Two Scoreless Innings as New York Yankees and Houston Astros End Game in Tie

Chien-Ming Wang tossed two scoreless innings, Miguel Cabrera went 2-3 with a triple and two RBIs and Angel Berroa finished the day 2-3 with a double and a solo homer as the New York Yankees tied the Houston Astros 5-5 in spring training play on Monday afternoon.

The Yankees touched up Astros starter Mike Hampton for four runs on six hits in the first two innings. That lead 4-0 lead was pushed to 5-0 in the fourth inning on Berroa’s solo blast but the Astros got the run back in the bottom half of the frame off Brett Tomko.

Matt Kata made it 5-2 in the fifth when he hit a solo blast off Anthony Claggett and tehn tid the game in the eighth inning when they put three runs up on George Kontos.
