Canadian man dies after being hit by Cash Cab

By: Daun Lee

A 61 year old Vancouver man died Friday after being struck by a replica of the Cash Cab used in filming of the Canadian version of the popular game show.

After a day of on shooting the popular show the cab was being driven back to the studio when the man was struck. He was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. His name has not been released.

The mock yellow can was being driven by a technician for the show. The cause of the accident is under investigation, but no charges have been filed.

In most accidents, if a driver is found to be negligent an accident attorney can seek compensation for the victim’s family.

Andrew Burnstein, president of Castlewood Productions, told the press, “Our thoughts and prayers are with victim and his friends and his family. My heart also goes out to the driver of the vehicle, a member of our technical staff, who is shaken and devastated by this tragic accident, as is all our staff.”

Automobile accidents take the lives of countless people on an annual basis, and they are often caused by another person’s carelessness or inattention. The primary duty of an accident lawyer is to prove negligence in an accidental injury case.

When negligence plays a factor in an accident, the victims or their remaining family members can retain an accident attorney to obtain recompense for the harm done to them.
