Summer Camp Goes to College

SuperCamp, one of the leading academic summer camps in the world, has created a college summer camp for students entering and already in college. Quantum U is an eight-day residential summer academic program held on the campus of Colorado College that teaches students how to succeed in college with college skills they don't acquire in high school.

Quantum U sharpens students’ learning skills in such areas as writing, test-taking, critical thinking and problem solving, giving them college-level expertise that enables them to communicate with professors and fellow students on a professional and highly effective level. At the same time, it helps prepare them for a post-college career.

Participants in this program also get a lesson in college life skills. College is not just an extension of high school. It represents a whole new paradigm in school, learning, and autonomy. Students learn how to manage their time, their finances and their lives to avoid costly missteps and to keep stress to a minimum.

Quantum U educators know that motivation and inspiration come from within a student. Every interaction over the eight days is crafted to appeal emotionally to students, in order for them to gain a goal-directed vision while triggering their inner drive to achieve.

Here’s what one Quantum U graduate has to say: "Quantum U has had a major influence in my life. I wanted to thank you for creating the program that enabled me to understand myself and my goals and become the person I am today."

Given the investment that goes into a college education, as well as the opportunities it offers, Quantum U is like insurance for that investment. Whether you consider it a college boot camp or an advanced learning and life skills program, the value of Quantum U for any college student is undeniable.
