A Summer Camp that Teens and Parents Love

With over 50,000 graduates in 27 years, SuperCamp is one of the leading academic summer camps in the world. Students 11-18 years of age love SuperCamp. Interestingly, so do their parents.

Students enjoy attending the camp because they discover their own greatness. They learn that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to. And they enjoy every action-packed minute at camp with SuperCamp’s dynamic staff.

Parents love SuperCamp because their sons and daughters return home more positive, confident and motivated, which is reflected in their grades, their relationships at home and with friends, and their desire to make things happen in their lives.

At SuperCamp, students gain valuable learning skills in such areas as effective reading, creative writing, critical thinking, and problem solving, plus study, test-taking, and memory techniques. Life skills instruction includes enhancing communication, interpersonal, time management, and leadership ability. Another important aspect of SuperCamp is character development using the 8 Keys of Excellence: Integrity, Failure Leads to Success, Speak with Good Purpose, This is it, Commitment, Ownership, Flexibility and Balance.

SuperCamp’s 10-day residential camps are held on seven college campuses across the U.S.: Stanford, Cornell, Cal State San Marcos near San Diego, the University of Washington, Colorado College, Drake University in Des Moines, and Wake Forest. Two age-specific programs are offered: Junior Forum, for students entering grades 6-8 in the fall, and Senior Forum, for students entering grades 9-12.

For the first time ever, this year SuperCamp will hold a 10-day Senior Forum camp in Spanish and one in Mandarin. Both camps will take place at Cal State San Marcos in San Diego in July. These camps are a great opportunity for high school students who are taking one of these languages at a high level to get 10 days of immersion in the U.S., while gaining the learning and life skills that SuperCamp is known for.
