Phoenix auto accident results in one fatality

By: Daun Lee

An accident, which occurred just after midnight Tuesday morning, resulted in one fatality.

The wreck happened on I-17, and Peoria in North Phoenix. According to Phoenix police officer Sgt. Trent Crump, a Toyota SUV was traveling eastbound on Peoria Ave. when the driver collided with a Ford Mustang, traveling northbound on I-17.

Crump said that the driver of the Mustang died of injuries resulting from the accident. Her name has not been released to the public.

Investigators are looking into whether alcohol was involved in the fatal accident. They have not released any information regarding the SUV driver or whether the person was also injured in the collision.

If alcohol did play a part in this collision, an accident attorney would be able to sue the driver for their negligence, and obtain a settlement for the deceased’s family.

Auto mobile accidents cause thousands upon thousands of fatalities and injuries on the nation’s streets and highways. Distracted or intoxicated driving are the primary causes of these accidents. Negligent drivers should be held accountable for the pain they cause, and an accident lawyer can assure that this happens.

Careless drivers can be charged by the law, but the injured, and families of deceased individuals often turn to accident attorneys to get justice for them by seeking financial compensation for their losses. Money can’t replace good health or a loved one, but it can offer some comfort.
