Iraqi Suicide Bomber Kills at least 28 in Baghdad Police Attack

A suicide bomber on a motorcycle has killed at least 28 people and injured more than 55 after detonating an explosive outside a police recruitment center in Baghdad on Sunday.

The mid-morning attack came as scores of people were lining up outside the academy. According to reports a man on a motorcycle crashed his bike into the crowd while detonating a belt of explosives.

Suicide bombers have often targeted police recruitment centers and this was the second attack at the academy since December of last year. In that attack 15 people were killed and 45 people were left injured.
