Teenager Involved in Odom Crash Dies

The teenage boy who was struck by a motorcycle following a collision with a car carrying Lamar Odom was buried by neighbors after passing away. Thursday afternoon a motorcycle tried to turn in front of the Cadillac Escalade Odom had hired to escort him around New York and struck the bumper, losing control and hitting 15-year-old Awsaf Alvi Islam.

Islam was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens where he was treated for severe head trauma after being struck in the back by the motorcycle. He died at 2:30 in the afternoon on Friday. The collision is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
