FL Teacher Christy Lynn Martin Arrested for Porn Pics to Student

A St. Petersburg teacher is accused of sending pornographic pictures of herself to a 14-year-old boy. Florida authorities say 32-year-old Christy Lynn Martin used a cell phone to exchange nude pictures with the boy last weekend.

The Azalea Middle School teacher was booked into the Pinellas County Jail Saturday on charges of transmitting pornographic images through an electronic device and transmitting material harmful to a minor. Martin was released Sunday on bond.

A police spokesman says the teen is an eighth grader at Azalea Middle School. “My understanding is he is not one of her current students, but may have been on in the past,” said spokesman Bill Profit.

Martin was a teachers assistant at the school before she began working there full time in fall 2008.
