American Cornhole Presents Cornhole Madness at Grand Victoria Casino in Indiana

Cornhole Madness has $5.000 Guaranteed Purse at Grand Victoria Casino and Resort in Rising Sun, Indiana

March 28, 2009 the bags will fly at the Grand Victoria Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana.

 

Cornhole Madness is a Signature Event presented by the American Cornhole Organization (ACO) located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Frank Geers, the ACO President, said that the structure of the tournament was Madness and that any participant could win. "Let the bags drop where they may - Cornhole Madness is on."

 

Cornhole Madness is an anybody can win cornhole singles event. The winner will be the player scoring the most total points in the series of four events. Events include a luck of the draw doubles tournament, a singles tournament, a Seven21 Challenge, and an Air Mail Challenge.  A good cornhole player doing well in all four events will stand a great chance of being declared Cornhole Madness Champion.

 

The Seven21 Challenge and the Air Mail Challenge are different from the standard cornhole tournament events. Seven21 Challenge is where a player gets 7 cornhole bags and tries to score as many points as possible pitching from the normal pro-distance of 27' front edge to front edge - maximum number of points a player can get at this stage is 21.

 

The Air Mail Challenge is the final event of the tournament. Each player will be given 8 cornhole bags and pitch at a box 30' away. Players will have a time limit of 3 minutes to pitch the 8 bags. A player will earn 5 points per cornhole with a chance to score a maximum of 40 points.

 

Players from seven states have signed up for the event. Virginia, West Virginia, Illinois, Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Indiana will be represented at the event. There are 128 spots to be filled and when they are filled the tournament will be closed.

 

Cornhole Madness is a great way for players to test their skills in all aspects of the game through the different events and gives any player a chance for the Cornhole Madness Crown.
