Fundraising Ideas for Summer Camp

Many kids and teens wanting to go to summer camp this year are having to find creative ways to raise money for the enrollment fees. Some students who wanted to attend SuperCamp academic summer camps have shown a great deal of initiative.

At the teen summer camps website, the stories of two students' efforts are shared. In both cases, the students asked their extended families for contributions of whatever size they could make. In addition, they asked friends and neighbors. They also held garage sales.

The value of SuperCamps summer enrichment programs are undeniable. The challenge for many families is raising enough money to send their kids. Nevertheless, parents know that there is no greater investment than being able to invest in the future of their sons and daughters.

SuperCamp not only help students in school through invaluable learning skills. The academic camp helps students feel good about themselves and contributes to improved relationships with friends and within families. Students learn communication skills and gain a strength of character through SuperCamp's 8 Keys of Excellence.

SuperCamp gives students a dynamic and life-fulfilling 10 day experience on a college campus. This year, SuperCamp is being held at seven colleges in the U.S., including Cornell, Wake Forest and Stanford.

Camps begin in late June and some go as far as late August. Parents can call 800-285-3276.
