Increasing over-reach of the Federal Govenrment is being felt now by more and more citizens who never wanted to be political.
"Being apolitical doesn’t mean politics won’t affect you," says columnist John Longenecker. "It must be a shock to tens of millions that predatory practices really exist everywhere, in every industry, every freedom, now coming to crescendo in 2008 and 2009."
But Oklahoma State Senator Randy Brogdon gave John an interview this week, and it appears on his website as an audio MP3. Senator Brogdon’s approach is shared by nineteen other states who believe that invoking the Tenth Amendment to our Constitution – one which affirms state sovereignty from the Feds – can be utilized to get out from under the growing immensity of federal over-reach and insistence against the interests and wishes of the electorate.
Longenecker’s position is that whatever intrusions citizens are now feeling as pressure and suspicion of official competence and ability were first tried on America’s Gun Owners in more than 20,000 gun laws, gun bans struck down and attempted again and again, and discovering what 80 million will tolerate, now applies it to everyone now. "Gun owners had been predicting such sweeping looting and defiance of the electorate for a long time," Longenecker adds, "and here it is, almost on schedule."
Longenecker and Senator Brogdon discuss Sovereignty, Gun Rights, and other topics empowering the electorate.
