Search
and rescue teams are scouring the Atlantic waters looking for survivors of a
helicopter crash off the Canadian province of Newfoundland.
Reports
have indicated that 18 people were aboard the helicopter when it went down and
two of those on board have been pulled from the rough waters. There has been no
sign of the helicopter but search crews have spotted a life vest.
It
is believed the helicopter had been transporting the people to a Hibernia
offshore oil platform when it went down.
