ACC Conference Tournament Finals Schedule: Duke Blue Devils Make Case for #1 Seed Against Florida State Seminoles

The ACC conference tournament is now set and while most expected the Duke Blue Devils to be on the slate not many had penciled in Florida State but a great run from the Seminoles and their upset win over the North Carolina Tar Heels earned them a shot at their first ACC conference title in school history.

Tip-off for the ACC tournament championship is set for 1:00 p.m. ET from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

Duke (27-6, 11-5) landed in the finals after taking care of the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday while Florida State (25-8, 10-6) snuck past North Carolina by three to advance to their first ACC conference tournament finals. For the Blue Devils there’s still an outside shot at a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament while the Seminoles are shooting to a strong seed in the dance and an upset win on Sunday could certainly give them that.

The Blue Devils own two wins over FSU this year but in their last match up on March 3 the margin of victory was three points and the Seminoles hung with Duke the entire game.
