“America’s Next Top Model” Audition Turns into America’s Most Wanted as Three Arrested in Melee

An audition call for the hit reality show “America’s Next Top Model” turned ugly on Saturday when hundreds of prospective models were sent running after chaos broke out at the Manhattan hotel where the audition was being held.

Police have not determined what sparked the sudden chaotic rush but three people, two women and a man, had been arrested and charged with inciting a riot. At least six people were injured in the melee as models abandoned their sleeping bags and ditched their shoes to run from the Park Central New York hotel.

“America’s Next Top Model,” hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks, cancelled the audition after the melee broke and police are investigating the cause.
