American Cornhole Organization (ACO) Team Grows to SouthEastern Ohio

American Cornhole Organization’s New Agent Crosses Line to Serve Cornholers.

New ACO Agent Mark Lambert lives in West Virginia but has fun in Ohio.

Just two years ago Mark played in his first cornhole tournament in Southern Ohio and fell in love with the sport. Since then Mark spends most of his free time at Buns Party Barn in Pomeroy, Ohio pitching bags. Mark has a whole new group of friends he refers to as “The Cult of Cornhole”. He says he has fallen for the sport big time and his buddy Dyana Tolliver – one of the Top Female Cornholers in the country – makes certain Mark’s cornhole games stay sharp.

In the fall of last year a couple of Mark’s friends from Pomeroy suggested that Mark get in touch with the ACO and talk to them about the sport of cornhole. When Mark understood there was a Cornhole Organization  that cared enough about the sport of cornhole to standardize cornhole boards, bags, and rules, he knew he wanted to be part of that

Mark took his first skills challenge, known in the cornhole communities as a SCR Score, in Columbus, Ohio and decided then he wanted to be part of the ACO Team. As an ACO Team member he could help elevate the game of cornhole to the sport of cornhole and he knew this was his calling. What better way for a boy from West Virginia to cross over the line and bring the sport of cornhole to his buddies in Ohio.

The American Cornhole Organization is the governing body for the sport of cornhole and has a team of cornhole specialists just like Mark  throughout the US presenting sanctioned cornhole tournaments, overseeing skill challenge (SCR) Scores, and other official cornhole functions that will carry the sport of cornhole to a higher level.
