Golfers competing at The Crossings at Carlsbad in the 2011 U.S. Putting Tour Championship can play the 18-hole championship course for just $69, including cart, throughout USPT Championship Week.
This special rate applies for the entire seven-day period of September 26 through October 2, including weekends. The discount represents as much as a 37 percent savings for out-of-town golfers who will visit Carlsbad to compete in the putting championship.
"The Crossings is a fun and challenging course," said Jim Hartley, president of the U.S. Putting Tour. "It should be on every golfer's must-play list when visiting San Diego and this special deal makes it an absolute no-brainer."
The entire
putting championship will take place on The Crossings' primary practice putting green, so on-course play will not be impacted. One of The Crossings' two short-game practice greens will be converted into a practice putting green for people who are playing golf on the 18-hole course during the time the
putting event is going on.
