Florida woman arrested for DUI after taking children on a crazy ride

A Jacksonville, Florida woman was arrested for DUI on Monday evening after taking her five children on a crazy ride.

Any person arrested for intoxicated driving will benefit from the representation of a DUI attorney.

An off-duty police officer saw Catina Peterson, 38, swerving on a city street with sparks flying off of the rim of her tire. Peterson pulled into a trailer park where the officer was working. After she pulled into an empty lot, she swerved and ran into a fence. He also noticed she had five children in the vehicle whose ages ranged from 5 to 15.

The officer approached her vehicle and knocked on her window. Peterson opened her door then spilled beer from an open container down the front of her shirt. When she exited the vehicle she was unsteady on her feet and almost fell over while talking to the officer. During their conversation, a man ran up to inform the policeman that Peterson nearly hit him while walking down a sidewalk on a nearby street, and that she also hit a pole and fence.

She was later arrested for a DUI causing damage, having an open container, and leaving the scene of an accident. Hopefully, she has the number of a highly-skilled DUI lawyer.

He children told police they had to grab hold of the steering wheel to prevent a crash, but also noted their mother swerved on purpose and lost control of the car. She has previously hit a curb before entering the trailer park. Her carelessness may make it difficult for a DUI attorney to have her penalties reduced.
