Nadya Suleman called police Tuesday night after bringing
home two of her octuplets for the first time. The mother of 14 told authorities
that she feared for the safety of the infants because the paparazzi were trying
to break down her garage door.
“I need help and this is not safe for any of the kids.
Please hurry,” Suleman says in a 911 tape released Wednesday. “They are trying
to break down the garage door. We pulled in and they are swarming the whole
area.”
Police arrived at Suleman’s new 4 bedroom home and found
the garage door broken. They estimated nearly 250 people were cleared from the
property. Suleman refused to file a police report about the damage.
The single mom made headlines in January after giving
birth to octuplets when she already has six children and no clear source of
income. All 14 of her children were conceived through in vitro fertilization.
Kaiser Permanente released two of the eight infants
Tuesday. Another two are expected to be released next week.
