Lance Armstrong Breaks Collarbone in Bicycle Crash

American cyclist Lance Armstrong broke his right collarbone in a bicycle accident Monday while racing in the Vuelta Ciclista Castilla and Leon race in Spain.

Armstrong was involved in a crash with 15 to 20 other riders. It is unclear what caused the crash and if anyone else was hurt.

“I’m miserable. I just need to relax a couple of days and then make a plan,” Armstrong said.

The seven time Tour de France winner plans to return to the United States to have doctors determine if he needs surgery.
