Lindsay Lohan’s ex-girlfriend Sam Ronson got arrested yesterday for a DUI outside Las Vegas, where she was DJ’ing at gig in the Lavo nightclub at the Palazzo hotel. The infamous DJ was on her way back to LA in her black Porsche when police pulled her over in Bakersfield, California around 10:30am.
According to TMZ, the police report stated that she failed a number of field sobriety tests. Sources told TMZ that Ronson refused to take a roadside breathalyzer, which isn’t as accurate as a blood test, and can be challenged by a DUI attorney. She was immediately put under arrest. While at the police station, she was very cooperative. When tested her blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit.
Friends close to Ronson told TMZ that weren’t surprised to hear of her DUI arrest. The sources said she had been spending more time at nightclubs even when she wasn’t spinning records and drinking more and more. Lindsay Lohan, who is no stranger to A DUI, had been spending less time with Ronson because she felt she was not a good influence. Luckily, for Ronson her money will make it possible for her to hire a really good DUI lawyer.
Famous or not, a DUI can be a serious charge that can affect a person’s freedom. Without the representation of a DUI attorney you could face losing your driver’s license, time in jail and high dollar fines.
