LeBron James Publicly Back Tebow, Broncos

Tim Tebow has divided NFL fans when they talk about his potential. Some feel that he is the leader of the next generation of great quarterbacks while others think that his success at Florida was dependent on the talent and coaching surrounding him. He gained a new fan on Wednesday when LeBron James tweeted, "Tim Tebow will succeed in the NFL."

James said that Tebow's work ethic, studious habits, and leadership qualities will allow him to excel in the popular league. The comments came in response to an ESPN analyst's criticism of Tebow's performance during the last season.

On Wednesday's SportsCenter Merril Hoge said, "[Tebow] is awful as far as accuracy goes and what's even more distrubing, he's probably worse moving and running around with the football and throwing than he is from the pocket." Tebow is largely cited as a mobile quarterback and a threat to run at any time.

So far during the Broncos training camp Tebow has been splitting snaps with the second team with Brady Quinn as Kyle Orton works with the first team. Coach John Fox has said that the position remains open to the best quarterback who emerges during camp.

Tebow's on field complications have failed to lower his national profile however. Since his time at the University of Florida he has had a large following and his jersey remains one of the most popular in the NFL.
