Nadya Suleman Relieved to Have “Spies” Out of Home

Nadya Suleman’s lawyer says the mother of 14 is relieved after firing the free nanny service Angels in Waiting as she felt they were “setting her up to fail.”

Suleman fired the nonprofit organization after learning the nannies had filed complaints with Child Protective Services over how her household was run.

“She is happy this if off her chest and she can move on. I think she is breathing easier [now] that AIW is not holding her household under a microscope. They were setting her up to fail. It’s difficult living with someone whose judging you for everything,” Suleman’s lawyer Jeff Czech tells People magazine.

The Angles in Waiting nannies were with Suleman to help care for her octuplets. Four of the eight babies have been released from Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, where they have been since their birth in January.

The single mother fired AIW Monday saying they were a “poor fit” from the start. Czech says Suleman and Angels were paired by attorney Gloria Allred, who previously filed a complaint with Child Protective Services about Suleman. Allred later threatened that without proper care, Suleman’s children could be sent to foster homes.

Suleman had now hired several teams of nannies to help care for her children. “She’s using nannies that she’s paid for, and everyone is doing great,” Czech said.
