Dr. Rajiv Sahay Awarded with the Fellowship of Indian Aerobiological Society

Dr. Rajiv Sahay, CIAQP Director of Environmental Diagnostics Laboratory (EDLab) an AIHA accredited lab was awarded with the Fellowship of Indian Aerobiological Society during the India XV National Conference on Aerobiology recently hosted by Manipur University, Imphal (India) during March 6-8, 2009. The fellowship confirmed Dr. Sahay in a special ceremony for his contribution in the field of aerobiology, environmental biology, and indoor air/environmental quality both at international and national levels.

Dr. Sahay is recognized as one of the leading aero biologist in field diagnostics and laboratory testing to support academicians, building scientists, clinicians, industrial hygienists and others.

Dr. Sahay delivered a plenary lectures on “Aerobiology: A Vanguard of Modern Age” as an invited speaker during a joint technical session of XV National Conference of Indian Aerobiological Society on March 7, 2009. 

In addition, Dr. Sahay presented an exclusive research finding on “Air-borne Bacteria of Indoor Environment” during the technical session Aerobiology and Human Health Care (Technical Session II B) on Mach 8, 2009.  Dr. Sahay's work was based on the indoor quality assessment in and around commercial and residential buildings across the United States.  The study revealed Micrococcus as the most common bacteria reported from the indoor environments.
