Hearing Again releases first case study on their revolutionary self programmable hearing aid.

Hearing aids you program in your home

Hearing Again (http://www.openfit.com/) has been selling hearing aids online for more than two years.  In that time, we have mostly sold traditional hearing aids that you need an audiologist or hearing aid dispenser to program.  This has been a challenge for some customers as some people find it difficult to find someone locally to make the adjustments on the hearing aid if needed.

Recently, we have been excited to exclusively offer a hearing aid that our customers adjust with their computer.  Because we are the manufacture, we are able to offer the highest technology at a very reasonable price.  This hearing aid is incredible small, light-weight and powerful.  We have extensively tested this product and can now release our first case study of the Perfect Pro hearing aid:

Case Study #1 – 60 year old male.

Hearing Loss: Dave has normal hearing from 250Hz to 750Hz, mild hearing loss from 1000Hz to 4000Hz and moderately severe hearing loss from 4000Hz to 8000Hz.

Previous Hearing Experience: Dave has worn behind the ear and completely in the canal hearing aids for over 20 years.  Over the past few years, Dave has worn several open-fit hearing aids such as the Stark-ey Zn and Stark-ey Destin 1200 OTE.  At the time of the visit, Dave was wearing Stark-ey 1200 Destin cic hearing aids.

Hearing Needs: Dave was looking for a small open-fit hearing aid device.  Dave sometimes has trouble wearing the cic hearing aids all day long and prefers an open-fit device.

Hearing Aid Purchased: Perfect Pro Air

Dave's Response: "I have worn Stark-ey hearing aids for a long time because they have unmatched sound quality.  I was attracted to the Perfect Pro because of the 32 digital channels and the ability to self program it.  I know that the number of channels has a direct effect on the sound quality of the hearing aids.  Hearing quality is very important to me and so originally, I did not believe that a hearing aid that cost around $1000 could produce a good sound, but I was thrilled with the results of the Pro. The sound is very clean and crisp.  I have worn many hearing aids that produce a computer sound and the sound of the pro is very natural.  So far, I am very pleased with the aids.  I was also a little skeptical about using the software because I'm not the most computer savvy person around, but it was very easy to use.  I have only set the hearing aids once, but its nice to know if needed, I have the ability to change the settings."
