The Balancing Act on Lifetime Television is seeking two full-time female hosts to lead their daily national morning show. The search is now on to find the dynamic duo who will host the program which inspires and empowers women with entertaining and educational segments. The program is seeking qualified experienced women who appear to be between the ages of 25 and 40. The half-hour program airs weekday mornings at 7AM, ET and PT, on Lifetime. The show is produced and taped in South Florida. Serious candidates are encouraged to email their resume and demo reel to MMenningmann@Brandstar.tv. More information is available at http://www.thebalancingact.com/
“We are very excited about this national search,” says Richard Borjas, Supervising Producer of The Balancing Act. “The success of our show has inspired us to search for hosts who can be fully dedicated to the promotion of The Balancing Act. This is a tremendous opportunity for the women selected, and we are looking forward to reviewing all qualified applicants as we seek to find the duo with that special on-air chemistry.”
Some of the qualities Borjas is seeking include: likeability, credibility, a spunky appeal and the ability to ad lib. The applicants need to be able to both co-host and host solo segments shot in studio and on location. Hosts must be able to work well with and without a prompter and have a great work ethic, attitude and personality. All ethnic backgrounds welcome.
Candidates must be able to travel to South Florida at their own expense in late April or early May for an interview and casting in our studio. The show’s new hosts will be selected shortly after and will begin shooting segments starting June 1, 2009.
