Shooting at North Carolina Nursing Home Leaves Six Dead, Several Injured

At least six people have died and several more left injured after a shooting at a North Carolina nursing home on Sunday morning.

According to reports a gunman walked into the 90-bed Pinelake Health and Rehab Center in Moore County around 10:00 a.m. and opened fire. A police officer on the scene was left injured in the shooting as was the gunman, at least another two were injured and taken to Moore Regional Hospital.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting or announced if the gunman had a prior relationship with the nursing home.
