Man Beheads Sister, 5, in Front of Police

A Boston man was shot to death Saturday by police officers who saw him decapitate his 5-year-old sister, Bianca. A Milton police officer responded to a disturbance call and walked in on 23-year-old Kerby Revelus beheading the child with a kitchen knife.

Revelus had already stabbed his 17-year-old sister Samantha to death. The officer called for backup after witnessing Bianca’s death. Revelus then ran to another room and began attacking a third sister, 9-year-old Saraphina, with the officer on his heels.

Police shot and killed Revelus to stop the attack. Saraphina was rushed to a nearby hospital where she is recovering from multiple stab wounds.

Five officers are on paid leave and receiving counseling for stress and trauma.
