Tickets to Cigars International’s annual CIGARFEST event gone in a record 45 minutes
On May 2nd 2009, Cigars International’s 6th annual CigarFest event will play host to 2,500 cigar enthusiasts at the Split Rock Resort in the Poconos, Pennsylvania. Included with admission are 50+ premium cigars, micro-brew and liquor samplings, food, raffle prizes and much more.
“Tickets to this year’s Fest sold out in an unprecedented 45-minutes after going on sale. In fact I believe we could have hosted 10,000 people were there only a venue large enough to accommodate that number. While I wish we could accommodate more, those 2,500 guys coming to CigarFest 2009 are once again going to have the time of their lives.”
The cigar world’s top manufacturers will be on hand for the event, which manufacturers have called “the seminal event in the cigar industry each year.” Among the 35 exhibitors will be Rocky Patel, Nick Perdomo, Don Pepin Garcia, Jonathan Drew (Drew Estate, Acid and Natural), Jose Oliva (Oliva Cigars), Kaizad Hansotia (Gurkha), Ernesto Padilla, Tim Ozgener (CAO), Christian Eiroa (Camacho Cigars), Nestor Plasencia (5 Vegas), Nestor Miranda, La Gloria Cubana, Manuel Quesada (Fonseca), Ashton, La Aurora, Graycliff, Mike Cusano, Carlos Torano, Alan Rubin (Alec Bradley) and more.
Festivities will span a 4-day range, with events beginning Thursday April 30th and running through Sunday, May 3rd. The main festival event will take place in the Split Rock Lodge on Saturday, May 2nd from 3-7pm. Additional open-to-the-public events are being held at Cigars International’s two retail locations in conjunction with CigarFest, including a CAO event with a chance to meet NFL great Dick Butkus. For those that can't attend, CI will have virtual CigarFest deals online, featuring special edition offerings from many of the top cigar brands.
