Dutch Tourists Kidnapped in Yemen

A Dutch couple has been kidnapped by a group of armed tribesman in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa and the pair is now believed to be in a mountainous area just east of the city.

According to reports the tribesmen abducted the couple and are now using them as bargaining chips to secure the release of two of their relatives who are currently being held by the government.

The governor of Sanaa has said security authorities are doing everything they can to ensure the safe release of the tourists.
