American Civic Association in Binghamton, New York Under Attack by Gunman, Hostages Involved
The American Civic Association in Binghamton, New York is the scene of a major hostage situation after a gunman walked into the building and opened fire with a high-powered rifle.
According to reports at last four people had been shot and there are up to 41 hostages still inside the building. A SWAT team is currently on the scene and the areas around the ACA are under lockdown as negotiations with the gunman are said to be underway.
Initial reports have indicated the gunman was an Asian man believed to be in his 20s but there has been no confirmation.
UPDATE:
Reports have indicated at least four people have been killed and at least a dozen more have been shot.
