Two Suspects Detained in Binghamton, NY Shooting

Two suspects have been detained following a deadly shooting at the American Civic Association in Binghamton, New York. Authorities escorted the two men out of the building and placed them in separate police cars, marking an end to the three-hour murder and hostage situation.

Report still vary surrounding the death toll with some indicating four have died while other reports indicate up to 13 people were killed. The apprehension of two suspects also contradicts earlier reports that suggested the attack was carried out by one man, described as an Asian man in his 20s.

Wilson Medical Center is said to be treating five people who suffered gunshots, one of those victims was said to be in critical condition.

With the end of the attack police and SWAT team members are preparing to enter the building to retrieve the remaining hostages as well as possibly recover bodies.
