Binghamton, NY American Civic Association Shooter Identified as Jiverly Voong

Law enforcement officials have identified the shooter at Binghamton, New York’s American Civic Association as 41-year-old Jiverly Voong from Johnson City.

Voong’s body was found in an office on the first floor of the ASA building. Initial reports have suggested that he took his own life after launching a brutal attack in which he entered the building around 10:30 a.m. with a high-powered rifle and opened fire.

At least 13 people have been confirmed dead in the attack, including Voong but that number could be as high as 15 with as many as 26 injured.
