Nellis Air Force Base Honor Guard Posts Colors as Purple Heart Debuts Service Desk Training Program for Combat Wounded Veterans

Purple Heart Services is proud to unveil its newest training module designed for combat-wounded veterans, Purple Heart Service Desk at ThinkHDI Conference and Expo, the world’s largest industry event for Technical Service and Support Professionals, April 6-9, at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV.

To add to the pomp and circumstance of the announcement, Nellis Air force Base Honor Guard will parade to the Purple Heart Service Desk booth, stand in formation and post colors in front of the booth. In addition to the Honor Guard, a top aide from Rep. Shelley Berkley (D-NV 1st District) will be at the booth to read a written statement on behalf of the Rep. Berkley endorsing programs to support our veterans.

Partnering with Purple Heart Services, ThinkHDI has already trained and certified 3 combat-wounded veterans as Phase1 of the Purple Heart Service Desk Training Program and assisted with Phase 2 which is to develop a curriculum to train additional disabled veterans to become certified Service Desk Agents.

Qualified Veterans enrolled in Service Desk will receive remote technical training to become Certified Help Desk Agents and obtain industry-standard skills to provide professional solutions to customer needs related to software installation, system optimization and hardware troubleshooting. All training and work assignments are completed virtually through Purple Heart Services fully-interactive VoIP classroom and conferencing portal.
