The
Louisville Cardinals disappointing end to their basketball season was made even
worse on Tuesday when it was announced that star forward Earl Clark would
forego his senior year and enter the NBA Draft.
While
it was no surprise that Clark would leave following his junior year head coach
Rick Pitino will now have to replace 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
Clark
was named to the Third-Team All Big East following the Cardinals Big East
regular season and conference tournament title run. Louisville fell to the Michigan
State Spartans in the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament.
