Terrelle Pryor Draws Interest From Cowboys

Former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor is holding a pro day for NFL scouts on Friday if he is ruled eligible for the supplemental draft and the Dallas Cowboys are planning on attending. However Tuesday afternoon Pryor's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said that no decision had been reached regarding his eligibility.

The supplemental draft is currently scheduled to be held August 17th in Pittsburgh and the Cowboys will have the ninth pick.

According to local papers both the Cleveland Browns and the Washington Redskins will also attend the pro day.

The Cowboys have a history of using the supplemental draft, last year's pick Josh Brent was taken in the seventh round and remains on the roster. Currently starting quarterback Tony Romo is being backed by Jon Kitna, stephen McGee and Tom Brandstater so checking out Pryor is less of a necessity than it is general research.

Pryor is attempting to enter the supplemental draft after deciding to forgo his senior season while under investigation from the NCAA. He had already been suspended the first five games of the season for accepting improper benefits like discount tattoos and the scandal eventually led to head coach Jim Tressel's resignation.
