Jack Elway, Son of NFL Hall of Fame QB John Elway, Leaves Arizona State Football Team

Jack Elway, the son of NFL Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway, has opted to leave the Arizona State football team but remain at the school as a student.

Elway was a red-shirt freshman who was expected to compete for the starting job as the Sun Devils quarterback but according to head coach Dennis Erickson, “He's just tired of football and wants to do something else with his life.”

The 6’3” 200-pound Elway opted to attend ASU after attending Cherry Creek High School in Colorado.
