Woman Jumps to Death at New York Shopping Mall, Injures Teenager

A 56-year-old woman leapt to her death inside a New York City shopping mall on Wednesday and injured a teen-aged boy when she landed atop him.

The woman was reportedly on the third floor of the Queens Center Mall when she climbed over the railing and jumped. She landed on a 17-year-old boy who was sitting in a massage chair on the ground floor, knocking him unconscious and causing a head injury.

Derrick Mulnoz, a student at Amityville High School on Long Island, was rushed to a local hospital and was treated for multiple injuries.
