Kenny
Perry finished Day Two at the Masters with three birdies over the final seven
holes and will head into Saturday tied atop the leader board with Chad Campbell
at 9-under 135.
Perry
birdied his first two holes on Friday to move to 6-under for the tournament and
then struck birdies on 12, 15 and 18 to total an impressive 67. He now shares the
lead with Campbell after the first-round leader saw things fall apart between the
11th and 17th. Campbell actually opened his day with four
birdies through ten holes but a pair of bogies and a double-bogey left him at
2-under 70 on the day.
That
2-under from Campbell was matched by Todd Hamilton who is tied for third with
Jim Furyk and Angel Cabrera, all three sit three back at 6-under. Cabrera can
still make a move on the leaders as he sits 2-under through nine on Friday and
Furyk remains even through seven.
Tiger
Woods, searching for his fifth Green Jacket, is currently tied for eighth,
1-under through 17 on Friday after a 2-under 70 on Thursday.
