Call Progress (CP) Software
GAO Research Inc. (www.GAOResearch.com) is offering its Call Progress (CP) software for telephone network systems. It provides full call progress tone detection and generation functionality and operates on PCM samples.
The Call Progress (CP) software consists of two user-callable functions that perform the detection, generation, and initialization operations.
Using a tonal signaling standard, it is able to acquire connections between subscribers in telephone network systems and to indicate the status of the incoming and outgoing phone calls. The software module allows for such signals as Dial Tone, Busy Tone, Congestion Signal, Ring Back and Off Hook.
Apart from the above, this software also features low data and program memory requirements and can be easily configured to different cadences and tones.
This Call Progress (CP) software belongs to GAO’s family of Telephony Software.
