Nowadays many people suffer from poor health. Such people usually think they are victims of poor genetics or a bad environment. The fact is that most of the health problems in the world today occur due to a lack of healthy diet plans. Registered dietitian Jayson Hunter offers some tips which will help you create and follow a healthy diet plan.

 

Hunter explains, “In today’s hectic environment, it is very important that you follow a healthy diet plan, which will give your body the energy it needs and keep you healthy”. He adds, “Healthy diet plans are the ones which allow you to eat a variety of foods from different foods groups. They provide all the vital nutrients required to keep your body healthy”.

 

Here are Hunter’s tips for healthy diet plans:

 

1) Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables – Fruits and vegetables are valuable sources of different vitamins and minerals, which are essential for your body. Include about 3-4 servings of fruits and vegetables in your healthy diet plan.

 

2) Avoid processed and packaged foods – All healthy diet plans will recommend that you avoid processed and pre-packaged foods. Instead focus on eating natural organic foods like brown rice, brown bread, etc.

 

3) Water – Don’t forget to drink plenty of fluids. Water is the best thing for your body. It helps cleanse the system and curbs hunger pangs. Drinking about 8-10 glasses of water a day will keep the body well hydrated.
