Registered dietitian Jayson Hunter reveals four tips for healthy eating targeted specifically for people with hectic lifestyles. He believes that tips for healthy eating can be effective with a structured diet and exercise to help people to cope with ever increasing workloads.

 

Hunter explains, “In today’s fast paced society, eating healthy is the last thing on our minds. Following certain tips on healthy eating can at least ensure that we are eating right”. 1) Do not skip any meals – Having about 5-6 small meals a day is the ideal way to maintain your energy levels. Ensure that you eat smaller portions more frequently. This is one of the most important tips on health eating.

 

2) Learn to cook healthy foods – Avoid processed and packaged foods and instead opt for fresh foods cooked at home in a healthy way.

 

3) Stay away from sugary stuff – Limit your intake of the sugary stuff like colas, etc. They tend to drain your body of its energy levels.

 

4) Avoid the ‘dieting’ word – Don’t bog yourself down by telling yourself that you’re on a diet, when you are not. Eating healthy does not mean that you have to starve yourself or go on one of those fad diets.
