North Korea Orders UN Nuclear Inspectors Out Following Collapse of International Talks

North Korea has ordered all UN nuclear inspectors out of the country and told the International Atomic Energy Agency to remove seals and equipment from the disabled Yongbyon reactor following the collapse of international talks concerning their nuclear program.

Plans are now underway in North Korea to reactivate nuclear facilities that had temporarily been disabled as part of an agreement that allowed aid into the communist country.

For the past five years North Korea has been at the table with international leaders to discuss their nuclear intentions but their recent rocket launch drew loud criticism from the UN as well as Japan, South Korea and the United States.

While North Korea has insisted the rocket launch was intended to send a communications satellite into orbit many have accused the country of test firing a long-range missile. Those accusations and further criticism from the UN led North Korea to cut off all talks and they have now declared they would reactive their nuclear facilities.
