Narconon Freedom Center reports a 50 percent increase in people doing the Narconon Drug Rehabilitation program over the last six months with the majority of them recovering from a heroin addiction. Narconon Drug Rehabilitation Counselors attribute the increase in people doing the program to the unique workability of the Narconon program and its success rate which is 4 times that of the national average.
“A major part of the answer to our high success rate lies with our experience staff, our care factor and our delivery of the Narconon program that is a non-twelve step program. We think the good word of our success rate is spreading and that this is influencing the number of people we are seeing, “ says Nick Thiel, Senior Drug Rehabilitation Counselor at Narconon Freedom Center.
The Narconon program not only detoxifies the addicts body from drug toxins and thereby eliminates cravings, it also train clients on specific life skills courses that address the reasons they sought drugs out to begin with. The person leaves Narconon Freedom Center drug-free and with new skills and knowledge with which to handle life's problems.
One success from the Freedom Center says, ”I had been a hardcore Heroin and Cocaine addict for 7 years before I took control of my life at Narconon. During my addiction days, it would not be above me to steal, cheat, lie, or hurt people including those that were closest to me. My life was quickly and most inevitably leading to either incarceration or death… When I returned home my family could hardly recognize the person I had developed into. There relief, happiness, surprise, and pride in their son was worth the world to them and made me incredibly proud in myself and grateful forever to Narconon and all the life savers that work there.”
The first section of the
Narconon Program is a unique drug-free withdrawal. A certified Withdrawal Specialist is with the client 24 hours a day to help them through this section. One person wrote this after doing completing this step, “The withdraw specialists were very understanding and pulled me out of my toxic haze and into reality. I went through book one and felt more relaxed and comfortable with myself and my environment.” We have not released the person’s name to protect their desired privacy.
