A
suicide bomber strapped with explosives detonated a bomb inside an army base in
Iraq’s Anbar province injuring at least 26 people.
The
army base in Habania, about 15 miles east of Ramadi, is shared by the Iraqi
military and U.S. troops. No word has been released on the nationalities of
those injured.
There
have been some reports indicating 16 people were killed and more than 50 left
injured but those numbers Iraq’s defense ministry has discounted those figures.
