The Nintendo DSi has been available in North America for more than a week now. The first release of the Nintendo DSi was in Japan before Christmas of 2008 and reports say that over 170,000 units were sold within two days. Early this April, the DSi was released in both the United States as well as the United Kingdom. Nintendo announced that they sold 300,000 units in the US and another 300,000 in the UK over their launch weekend. MyTEGO.com picked up the white version of the Nintendo Dsi when it was first released in Japan a couple months ago. They released the online template for the DSi two months ago so customers could start designing the skin for the much talked about Nintendo DSi and order their custom skins in advance. If you did not order your skin before you bought the device, it is not too late. The Nintendo DSi was released in Europe on April 3, 2009 and released in North American on April 5, 2009. It has very limited color choice. You can order either blue or black in North America or you can order a Japanese version in white. Tego skins, however, come in all colors, styles, and designs limited only by your imagination. All consumers can now pimp out their Nintendo DSi with a hot Tego skin from www.MyTego.com.
The Nintendo DSi offers gamers the ability to customize the game system internally with expanded internal memory but MyTEGO offers a customization option for the external look and feel of the portable system. If you have already picked up your portable DSi, you are probably noticing that your system blends in with all the other systems that consumers have purchased. Not everyone plays all the same games, why should their Nintendo DSi’s look the same as everyone else’s? Tego skins show off the customer’s inherent desire to have the power to personalize their own world with their own style. It is becoming mainstream to personalize electronic devices from cell phones, Blackberries and laptops, to calculators, game systems, MP3 players, iPods, satellite radios and much more. Customers can create a Tego skin using images from the extensive online MyTEGO catalog, or they can upload pictures from their computer or digital camera. Tego Skins from www.MyTego.com are precision cut and cover the majority of the device. The device remains fully functional with specific cut-outs for screens, buttons, keys, as well as cutouts allowing access to the device’s battery. Tego skins go on easy and come off clean so they can be easily and frequently replaced to remain up to date with fast changing trends. Each one is then manufactured individually to the specifications of the customer and ships them direct. To see pictures of the Nintendo DSi with custom MyTEGO skins, check out their Flickr web page.
