Larry Levine, who advises white-collar criminals, isn’t afraid of publicity—last week he claimed to have been sought out by Bernie Madoff. Now he’s set to share his secrets with a much bigger audience.
The ex-con, who founded Wall Street Prison Consultants after doing ten years for narcotics and securities fraud, is close to a deal with 20th Century Fox Studios to star in a reality show produced by Prison Break scribe Nick Santora. It’ll chronicle consultations with clients about “going from the exchange floor to the prison yard,” including “prison cooking techniques, self defense, prison exercise techniques, and how to make hooch,” Levine says. As for the pitch, “In today’s economic climate, people are going away for the first time more than ever,” Santora says.
