NBA Scores Western Conference Playoffs: Tony Parker Paces San Antonio Spurs Past Dallas Mavericks to Even Series

Tony Parker scored 38 points on 16-22 shooting and dished out 8 assists, Tim Duncan added 13 points and 11 rebounds and Matt Bonner finished with 11 points and 7 boards as the San Antonio Spurs cruised to a 105-84 victory over the Dallas Mavericks to even their best-of-seven playoff series at 1-1.

Parker was dominant in the first quarter as the Spurs point guard poured in 19 points to give San Antonio a 30-19 advantage after one. That lead was extended to 21 points with 4:16 left in the half but the Mavericks made a run during an 11-2 stretch to pull to within 53-41 and by the break they were back to the 11 point deficit, 57-46.

Dallas managed to cut their deficit to single digits early in the third quarter after an Erick Dampier dunk but after a Spurs timeout San Antonio went on a 13-0 run to put the Mavs in a 74-52 hole. The Mavericks played flat the rest of the way as they went into the fourth trailing 85-63 and they never got closer than 18 in the final frame.

The Spurs dominated the boards as they held a 44-28 advantage on the glass.
