Female Suicide Bombers Attack Shia Shrine in Baghdad, at least 60 Killed

A pair of female suicide bombers targeted a Shia shrine in Baghdad, killing at least 60 people and leaving 125 more injured.

The two women waited until the Iman Moussa al-Kadhim shrine was packed with worshippers when they detonated the explosives. Authorities have said the women wore explosives belts and detonated them near the two gates of the Shia shrine located in the Kadhimiya area.

On Thursday two suicide bombers killed 84 people in separate attacks in Baghdad and Baquba.
