This year’s EC-Council, Hacker Halted security conference in Miami, Florida will feature an added benefit to attendee’s. EC-Council and Advanced Security by Academy of Computer Education have teamed up to offer a leading
computer forensics training and certification class and the enrollment into the class will include an excellent package deal.
The CHFI certification is a leading computer forensics certification that has been the object of much attention in the IT security space since the Certified Ethical Hacker certification became such a big hit. The CHFI certification teaches the primary processes of a forensics professional who is creating a case when investigating a cyber threat or violation. The CHFI is often seen as the second step for someone looking to become a professional ethical hacker or career in cyber security. Advanced Security by ACE is a highly awarded and internationally recognized IT security training leader and has been running the CHFI computer forensics training and certification class for about three years. Their program is recognized as a world leader and therefore, the EC-Council (creators of the CHFI certification) has asked that Advanced Security by ACE provide the training at this year’s Hacker Halted conference.
For the price of $3,199, the CHFI class at Hacker Halted will include official courseware, CHFI exam, lunch, a full access conference pass (including a pass to the mega-party on the final night) and a certificate of completion. The total of this purchased regularly would cost about $3,600, but until September 15, it can be purchased for the $3,199. The class will be taught by leading computer forensics industry expert, Robert Reed. The dates of the course are 10/21 – 10/24/11. The Hacker Halted conference then takes place immediately following the CHFI class until the 27
