NBA Playoffs Western Conference Schedule: New Orleans Hornets Look to Get Back in Series with Denver Nuggets

After two ugly losses on the road the New Orleans Hornets return to their home court on Saturday and will be looking to get back into their best-of-seven Western Conference playoff series with the Denver Nuggets.

If the Hornets are to find their first win of the series they will need to stop, or at least slow down, Chauncey Billups who has dominated the first two games. Billups has averaged 33.5 points in the first two contests and has left Chris Paul as a side-note in the discussion of who’s the best NBA point guard.

Billups has had plenty of help as Carmelo Anthony and Nene have been solid as has the Nuggets bench with J.R. Smith and Chris Andersen providing a spark the Hornets have not stopped.

New Orleans will need to not only find an offensive answer to Billups but also take care of the ball much better than they did in their previous two games. Paul has turned the ball over nine times while Billups has yet to register a turnover.

Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
